โœฆ Synopsis

May 2010

Sealing Technology 7 the knowledge and skills to manage assets using an optimised business, safety and compliance approach.

Accredited by the Energy Institute, it fulfils industry requirements for a practical course delivering the benefits of applying a life-cycle approach to asset management. It will enable personnel within the manufacturing, distribution and warehousing industries to focus on customer safety, production standards, specifications and equipment uptime throughout the supply chain.

The study environment is flexible and has been designed to fit in with today's lifestyles. The study programme is available as an on-line distance learning course, supported by on-line tutoring, with directed study and peer-to-peer forums.

Dr Jesse Andrawus is one of the course leaders. He said: 'Our primary concern is to safeguard human life, based on a shared desire to prevent disasters happening. Furthermore, across the world organisations are recognising the importance of not only maintaining the safety of their assets, but of doing so in a risk-assured, business-oriented and compliant manner, while remaining heedful of their reputation and public image.'

The course begins in January of each year, although it is possible to study individual modules on a continuing professional development (CPD) basis.
