Highly excited states of benzene were observed by two-color fluorescence dip and ion dip spectroscopy applied to the jet-cooled molecule. The two-color fluorescence dip and MPI spectra of jet-cooled pyrazine obtained after exciting the molecule to the S, (n,x*) state have been observed. Data on a higher excited n,r* state, on Rydberg states converging to the first and second ionization potentials, and on ionization from the T, state are reported.
