Two-phase gas-sohd flow m cyclone has been mvestlgated to determine the effect of particles on the swirl velocity dlstnbutlon With the help of two-phase Navler-Stokes equations, the swirl velocltles of the fluid and the particle phases have been evaluated theoretically by numerical schemes The results hlghhght the effect of momentum coupling between phases, causing a slgmficant change m the velocity profile wrth vanatlon of particle size and concentration The theoretical predictions reasonably agree with experlmental results
