Abstract
In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a tunable dual‐wavelength fiber laser by using an external injection‐seeding scheme with a Fabry–Perot laser diode. The wavelength tuning range of this tunable dual‐wavelength fiber laser is 12.6 nm, and the optical side‐mode suppression ratio (SMSR) is more than 27 dB. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
