propositus has brachydactyly of thumbs and a similar physiognomy without mental retardation. This appears to be another observation of the Tonoki syndrome, a distinct autosomal dominant or X-linked clinical entity.

β¦ Synopsis
In 1995, Tsukahara et al. reported on a 9-yearold boy with radioulnar synostosis, short stature, microcephaly, scoliosis, and mental retardation, a previously unreported syndrome. We now describe an 8-year-old Israeli Arab girl who appears to have the same condition. Her parents were first cousins, raising the possibility of autosomal recessive inheritance.

We describe a previously unrecognized syndrome in two unrelated patients with congenital cataracts, sensorineural deafness, distinctive facial appearance, skeletal changes, postnatal short stature, and mental retardation.
Three boys from two families were identified as having a syndrome of X-linked mental retardation (XLMR) with microcephaly and short stature, clinically resembling Renpenning syndrome but with normal size of testicles in affected men. When the effort to map the gene for the above condition was initia
We describe a growth-retarded newborn infant with craniosynostosis, microcephaly, hydrancephaly, oligodactyly, humero-radial synostosis, and normal chromosomes. The combination of anomalies has hitherto been unreported and we consider this to be a "new" syndrome.
Patients with the rare autosomal dominant microcephaly-lymphedema syndrome have apparently normal intelligence. We report on a boy with microcephaly, lymphedema, and short stature as an additional manifestation. The family history of our patient suggests autosomal dominant inheritance with reduced p
We report on 2 male cousins with minor facial anomalies, microcephaly, colobomatous microphthalmia, psychomotor retardation, short stature, and skeletal malformations. The children belong to a highly inbred family. We conclude that these patients have a previously undescribed autosomal-recessive syn
