The thermally stimulated discharge current has been measured a t low temperatures for magneto-electret samples of PVDF prepared a t different magnetic field strengths and forming temperatures. A number of peaks observed below room temperature are discussed.

The surface of PVDF film was selectively modified by wet chemistry. Treatment with aqueous LiOH produced HF-elimination and the emergence of an oxygencontaining functionality. The XPS analysis clearly indicated the presence of ketone-, ether(epoxide)-, and alcohol motifs. The percentage of alcohols
