✦ Synopsis

Epithelioid smooth muscle tumor is a rare low grade malignancy that usually occurs in the gastrointestinal tract. No chromosome studies of this tumor have been reported so far. W e found trisomy 8 as the sole chromosome anomaly in a large hepatic epithelioid smooth muscle tumor.
