The RSH or Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome (SLOS) is a relatively common autosomal recessive disorder of cholesterol biosynthesis resulting from a deficiency of the enzyme 7-dehydrocholesterol β¬7-reductase (7-DHCR).
