Triplet-triplet absorption studies, including extinction coefficient and polarization measurements are reported for 4-(4-p-terphenylylmethyl)-benzophenone

and 2-(4-i,-terphenylylmethyl)-triphenylene. The enhancement of triolet concentration via intramolecular enerw transfer processes in these compounds permit these meakrements to be performed.
