## Abstract In this paper, we propose a new dual‐band antenna for applications of the ISM band. The proposed antenna is designed to operate at 2.4 and 5.8 GHz. The lower‐frequency band (2.4 GHz) can be obtained by using the meandering technique, and the upper‐frequency band (5.8 GHz) for dual‐band

Abstract
In this article, we have proposed triple‐band antenna using matching circuit for DVB‐H/PCS/WLAN applications. The antenna consists of a radiating patch, two folded open strips, and matching circuit. The matching circuit has two chip capacitors and one chip inductor. Two folded open strips are used to obtain the resonances at PCS/WLAN bands. The proposed antenna was designed, fabricated, and measured. Good radiation characteristics have been observed over the operating frequency bands. Details of the proposed antenna design and the simulated and measured results are presented and discussed. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
