## Abstract This article reports on the liquid phase adsorption of flavour esters onto granular activated carbon. Ethyl propionate, ethyl butyrate, and ethyl isovalerate were used as adsorbates, and Filtrasorb 400 activated carbon was chosen as the adsorbent. Sips, Toth, Unilan, and Dubinin‐Radushk

Study on EDTA-chelated copper adsorption
✍ J Paul Chen; Shunnian Wu πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 2000 πŸ› Wiley (John Wiley & Sons) 🌐 English βš– 110 KB

Equilibrium and kinetic experiments on uptake of single-species copper, EDTA, and EDTAchelated copper by an H-type granular activated carbon under various factors, such as pH, ionic strength and EDTA concentration were carried out in this study. Adsorption of copper ions was increased with an increa

Iodine-doped activated carbon fibers (ACFs) were prepared by the iodine immersion method on pitch-based ACF. Then iodine-doped ACFs were heated in argon at 523 K for 4 h and at 673 K for 2 h. The iodine structure of the resultant iodine-doped ACFs was examined using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
