✦ Synopsis

The papers presented in the session "Blanket Technology II" at the Second International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology are introduced, most of which are related to liquid metal blanket technologies. Based on these papers, the recent trends in liquid metal breeder blanket development are explained, and the needs for further developments are discussed.
