✦ Synopsis
PSEUDO-OBSTRUCTION of the colon caused by hypothyroidism is rare and carries a high mortality (1). We report a case in which it occurred in a patient already on a treatment with thyroxine and in whom rapid resolution was achieved using intravenous triiodothyronine.
