Forty-two patients with previously untreated peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCL) were treated with an intensive chemothcrapy protocol. Either the BACOP or the m-BACOD regimen was used for induction. Patients achieving complete clinical remission after three courses were given intensive consolidation

The peripheral T-cell lymphomas of 50 patients were classified by histological type and tumour cell size, the latter as described by the Nebraska Group. There was no difference in the pattern of their clinical features among the various histological subtypes and their clinical outcome was similar. C
