## Abstract Acarbose has been shown to reduce post‐prandial hyperglycaemia and improve glycaemic control in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. We report its use as an adjunct to established insulin therapy in a 64 year old man with Type 2 diabetes mellitus and secondary failure to treatment wi
