Thirty-one patients with metastatic brain tumors were treated with Radiotherapy (RT) and CCNU or with RT, CCNU and Levamisole (LMS) in a randomized clinical trial. Twenty-seven were evaluable. All patients were submitted to whole brain radiation (50 +/- 5 Gy) and CCNU (130 mg/m2 p.o. every 8 weeks).
