## Communicated by B. Brosowski By means of the Conley connection index theory we prove existence of travelling wave solutions to a system of equations in a two temperature model of laser maintained plasma. These solutions describe locally the motion of plasma boundaries.

## Abstract An equivalent lumped element electric circuit model for traveling wave semiconductor laser amplifier has been developed using the rate equation for carriers. SPICE simulation of the circuits gives results in close agreement with the experimental data and values from sophisticated analys
