✦ Synopsis

The behaviour of multiconductor systems is analyzed from a fundamental travel&g-wave point of view. Generalized wave parameters are derived for a two-port multiconductor system from which image and iterative parameters follow as special cases.

Th,e relationship of these to short-circuit parameters is also given.

By using the theory of bifurcations of dynamical systems to the generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashili equation, the existence of solitary wave solutions and uncountably infinite many smooth and non-smooth periodic wave solutions is obtained. Under different parametric conditions, various sufficient cond
