Abstract

Traumatic aneurysms of the external carotid artery and its branches are uncommon. A case of a traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the proximal portion of the superficial temporal artery is presented. In addition, a general review of this problem is provided, including the etiology, clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, and management.
