This paper describes wave modulation on a nearly linear vortex filament which evolves through interactions with itself and with a fluid surface. We show that some of the features of the motion of a single vortex filament in an infinite fluid are preserved. As well, the presence of the fluid surface

We obtain expressions for thermal conductivity and ultrasonic attenuation coefficient in unconventional superconductors in the vortex state in the vicinity of B = H i(T~ where B is the magnetic induction and H i c2 c2(T) is the upper critical field when ~ is parallel to the crystal axis i.
