✦ Synopsis
The conductances of four molten symmetrical r&-a-alkylammonium picrates were studied and the results analysed in terms of the glass transition theory. Three of the salts have a normal chain and the other one is an iso compound. The length of the chain was found to play an important role in terms of the thermodynamic parameters of the transport process.
