✦ Synopsis
The transport properties of a new solid glassy electrolyle AgI-Ag20-P2Os-MoO3 are investigated. The addition of Agl to the host Ag20:P20~:MoO3 system enhances the conductivity by almost three orders of magnitude. The density and glass transition temperature vary linearly with Agl content. Studies with electrochemical cells have demonstrated the utility of this material for technological applications.
