β¦ Synopsis
The performance of a PEM DMFC with aqueous methanol and air mixed at the anode is compared with aqueous methanol only. The mixed methanol reactant/air fed anode DMFC offers superior performance to the conventional methanol-only fed anode DMFC, apparently due to higher liquid saturation in the anode diffusion layer and faster removal of CO 2 at the anode.

We describe the design of a high-performance chipset for computing 1-D complex fast Fourier transforms (FFT). Our chip technology is based on flip-chip integration of submicrometer CMOS ICs with GaAs chips containing 2-D arrays of multiple-quantum wells (MQW) diode optical receivers and transmitters
We present an Optical Interface Message Processor (OPTIMP) that exploits the high bandwidth, parallelism, multidimensional capability, and high storage density offered by optics. Switching and routing functions are performed in the optical domain and thus OPTIMP does not suffer from the optical/elec
