## Abstract Specific binding sites for neuropeptide Y could be demonstrated in primary cultures of astrocytes from neonatal rat brain. Neuropeptide Y binding was saturable, reversible, and temperature dependent as revealed by saturation studies and kinetic experiments. Scatchard analysis of equilib
