## Abstract The analytical solution of a wave equation that describes the propagation of a femtosecond laser pulse in a dispersion‐free finite‐length spatially chirped medium with 1D periodic inhomogeneity is presented. Such media are important to modern optics and are found in holograms, lasers, B
