✦ Synopsis

The process of interaction between two vortical ows in a gas of hard spheres is approximately described by the bimodal distribution of a special form. Both the ows rotate about the axes which can y with arbitrary linear velocities. Some su cient conditions for the inÿnitesimality of the uniform-integral residual between the sides of the Boltzmann equation are obtained.
