Abstract

We review some recent results on the performance of quantum communication channels in the presence of correlated noise for classical information transfer. We show in particular how the onset of a transition behavior in the optimal input entanglement depends crucially on the form of the correlations introduced by the noise process.

This paper treats the problem of transmitting a Gaussian discrete-time Markov process over a time-discrete additive white Gaussian channel with noiseless feedback which is subjected to statistically unknown jamming noise (satisfying a given power constraint). The channel is used more than once durin
