✦ Synopsis

A computer algorithm for the harmonic analysis on the steady state of single phase power systems containing a transformer saturation model is presented in this paper. The model proposed has been developed on the finite difference numerical method. The algorithm illustrates the application of the model. The numerical results have been validated with PSpice simulation program. The method proposed exploits the double-diagonal stnacture of the matrix, and a fast resolution algorithm is obtained. Different forms of representing transformer saturation have been analysed for improvement of the convergence.
