Voluntary deviation of the eyes depends upon intact frontal eye fiellds and connections from these cortical centers to the eye muscle nuclei. Reciprocal innervation of eye muscles by the human frontal eye fields has been indicated in a previous study (Lemmen, Fisher and Davis, '58). All observers ha
