The title compound, [Co(C 10 H 7 NO 3 ) 2 ]Á3H 2 O, contains sixcoordinate Co II with a mer-octahedral arrangement. The central Co atom is coordinated by the hydroxyl O atom, the quinoline N atom and a carboxylate O atom of each of the two tridentate ligands.
