This training pack is designed for heads and all sta within independent schools and was written by an Oxfordshire working group which included representation from the independent school sector. It aims to provide a knowledge of child abuse and child protection, as well as looking at issues of recognition and response in accordance with legislation and professional guidelines. Although aimed at both boarding and day schools, it declares that it is mainly written from the boarding perspective in order to ensure that the complexity of issues within the arena are not lost.
