College counseling centers can provide excellent training programs f o r graduate students. Given declining budgets and increased demands f o r services, counseling centers must examine the costeffectiveness of training. Based on the expm'ence of one center, the number of service hours provided by trainees is substantially greater than the number of training hours received.
