Qualitative research methods were used to determine the health and sajety concerns of women eniplnyed in the construction trades. Major categories of concern were identifed, including: I ) exposure to chemical tind physical agents; 2 ) injuries ,from @inghending/ twisting, fulling, und lacerations; 3 ) lack Qf proper educ:ation rind triiining; and 4 ) the health and safety risks related spec@dlv to tradeswomen.
