Abstract
Cervical esophagostomy has become a preferred technique for a longβterm enteral alimentation in chronically ill patients. It has relatively few complications and many benefits. We present a case of traction diverticulum as a complication of the procedure. This complication will probably become more prevalent as more esophagostomas are reversed. Management of the complication by a βtackβupβ operation is discussed.
