✦ Synopsis

Progress in the realisation

of the first large mass bolometer for double beta decay research is reported. Results

obtained with a 11 g Ge detector (13 keV FWHM resolution at 1 MeV) and a 28 g Te detector are exposed.

As temperature sensors for the bolometers, several commercial and NTD germanium thermistors working in the hopping conduction regime have been studied, showing a much more reliability and reproducibility for the NTD type than for the melt-doped ones.
