✦ Synopsis

The recent experimental data obtained by the OBELIX Collaboration on total and annihilation cross sections are presented and analysed in terms of scattering length approximation. This analysis allowed the evaluation of the partial wave contributions to the tip interaction as well as the isospin dependence in the ~VN total cross sections, but the most striking result, is the indication of a quite unexpected, narrow structure just above the :~rN threshold.
