✦ Synopsis


In the neutron guide hall of the research center KFA Jiilich a new neutron reflectometer has been constructed. It works at a fixed wavelength of 0.43 nm and is in particular dedicated to polymer thin film and interface investigations. The main features of the machine are described and some examples of its applications to the investigation of polymer surfaces and interfaces are discussed.
