✦ Synopsis

We give the necessary mathematical conditions for strong monopole catalysis.

Recently, much attention has been paid to studying the breakdown of baryon number conservation in the presence of nonabelian monopoles [1 ]. In this letter we study the topology of this phenomena, pointing out some aspects of the J = 0 approximation.

The Atiyah-Singer theorem can be considered as the global version of the ABJ anomaly. In the simplest case of a compact manifold M, the theorem reads:

A novel mobius-band monopole antenna which is based on the concept of topology is designed to realize ultra-wideband. Its UWB-related characteristics are simulated and experimentally verified. The results show that the proposed antenna has good radiation performances, which illuminates that topology
