✦ Synopsis
l k o diterpenes, 2a-acetoxysandraracopimaradien-1 a-01 (1) and sandaracopimaradien-la,2a-diol(2) isolated from Kolempferia pulchra Ridl. (Zingiberaceae), have been assayed for topical antiinflammatory activity in the model of 12-0-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate-induced ear aedema in rats. Both substances were found active and the ID,-values were estimated to 330 and 50 &ear, respectively. The ID,-value of the reference drug diclofenac was calculated to 90 pglear.
