Co. conducts its business through its three wholly‐owned banking subsidiaries, Tompkins Trust Company, The Bank of Castile and The Mahopac National Bank, through its insurance subsidiary, Tompkins Insurance Agencies, Inc., and through its financial planning and wealth management subsidiary, AM&M Financial Services, Inc. Co.'s banking services consist of accepting deposits from the areas served by its banking subsidiaries and using the deposits to originate commercial loans, consumer loans, real estate loans, and leases. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. had total assets of about $2.36 billion and total deposits of $1.72 billion.
