✦ Synopsis

A hundred-year-old feud sparked by gunpowder and gold may have met its match in an alchemist tomb raider and a disgraced Lord Captain.

Edmond is scheming again, and this time his plans take him to Titan's Follyβ€”a small, divided town in the heart of Godshaven. In order to achieve his ends, he takes the face and place of a serial killer newly appointed to reeve. His goal: win the annual peacekeeping tournament, avoid igniting the feuding families to war, and claim a prize glinting like gold, hidden in plain sight.

Meanwhile, the Order of the Lily has reassembled. Augustin Mora and his knights have been taking the odd job, but recently they've been hired to track a suspected serial killer. It just so happens, he was recently appointed as reeve in a distant town in Godshaven.

As if cursed by fate itself, Edmond and Augustin's paths are on collision course once more; this time, they find themselves atop a town full of gunpowder and greed, which only a spark could ignite into all-out catastrophe.
