โœฆ Synopsis

Extensive development work has been conducted establishing the technical superiority of titanium for sea water flash distillation equipment. The background laboratory data is reviewed outlining the areas of immunity for commercially pure Ti. Ti-O.ZPd and the Ti-ZNi formulations. Plant operating experience is reviewed. The present economic position of titanium in relation to competitive materials is discussed based upon both operating experience and engineering studies.
