β¦ Synopsis
After being laid off from her job at a law firm, Maxine Thune finds herself questioning her direction and looking for a change. She has lived out the typical life script. Max has the big house and the nice car, all the various trappings of material success, and she also has the debt to prove it. With this job loss, however, sheβs uncertain how sheβll continue to afford it all. But when Cadence Walsh comes into her life, the script is flipped for Max. Cady is a beautiful and free-spirited yoga teacher, sheβs a hippie, and she lives in a tiny house out in the woods. With no debts, few worries, and a more serene life, Cady reminds Max of her own bohemian past and she shows Max what their future could hold together. Can Max ditch her life of over-consumption, learn to live small, and find tranquility in a tiny house? Will going tiny be the change Max needs to discover her authentic self? Just because a home is small, that doesnβt mean the love within its walls canβt be big. And sometimes removing whatβs unnecessary from our lives is the key to finding that which we truly need to grow.
