✦ Synopsis

Frank Jameson always wanted his own space ship that he could use to travel the galaxy, and then he got one! Making his first trip with his hand-picked crew of from around the world to the center of the galaxy, he finds, not only life, but a vast and complex civilization. At once, he is famous, since he seems, by all accounts, to have the "fastest ship in the galaxy," and you would think this would work in his favor. It makes him lots of new friends, but also lots of new enemies. Before long, he becomes hunted and must find ways to defend himself and his crew since, of course, his fancy new ship did not come with weapons.
