A badly wounded WWII Hungarian soldier on the run from his brigade stumbles through a temporal gateway to the future and ends up in England in 2041. He slowly builds a friendship with a man from the Temporal Research Institution that runs the time travel program, which, in turn, leads to that man going back in time to stop a rogue agent from changing the past.
