✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Because of the low crosstalk of the CrossPoint switch, multiple recirculations are possible. This facilitates simplified time‐slot interchange configurations that depend on less fiber‐delay lines, and single time‐slot granularity to enable a short total‐delay time. Error‐free time‐slot interchange is demonstrated with a 10‐Gb/s payload. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
