β¦ Synopsis
In this note we describe a new phenomenon in steady-state bifurcations of time-reversible and equivariant vector fields. When the eigenspace associated with a pair of imaginary eigenvalues that passes through zero onto the real line is separable fi'om the nullspace associated with the fixed zeros of the spectrum, we wove that a pitchfork bifurcation occurs.

In this paper we study, mainly numerically, stochastic pitchfork bifurcation. By stochastic bifurcation we mean that new invariant measures appear as parameters contained in random dynamical systems are varied. We also show, by example, that using computer algebra MAPLE one can calculate stochastic
