โฆ Synopsis
Tunable diode laser transient detection of CF2, CrF,, and HCI following infrared multiphoton dissociation (IRMPD) of CF,HCI has been achieved. Quantification of the HCI and CZF4 leads to the calculation of an infrared absorption linestrength and the v, bandstrength for CFJ 2 'A, ). In addition, the rate coefficient for recombination of CFZ was found to be (1.4 f 0.4) x 10"' cm3 mol-' s-'.
