Time-resolved studies of the magnetic field effect on pyrene-dimethylanilie exciplex luminescence in non-alcoholic solvent mixtures (dielectric constant of 16) have been performed with the help of a time-correlated single-photon counting technique. Time-resolved luminescence spectra of chinese tea solution were measured at 300 K. The results show single exponential decay with 5 ns decay time for luminescence bands of 763 nm and 713 nm. The value of the decay time is almost the same as that for chlorophyll and other organic dye molecules.
