โฆ Synopsis
A simple met&d for measuring a time-resolved high-resolution FJ'IR absorption spectrum has been demonstrated using a pulsed electric discharge synchronized to the motion of the moving mirmr. Qis method can be applied to the phenomena which repeat rapidly ( > zz 3 l&k) by using a usual rapid scan RIR spectrometer without any modification to the software of the system. The fast vibrational enenzv relaxation of CO in moderatelv vibrationally excited states (u= 3-6) was clearly observed in a pulsed electric discharge throu&pure CO.
